Partnership with Guangzhou Research Institute Non-ferrous metals project

Development of new carbon composite materials for application in automotive braking systems.

Far is proud to announce that it will be partnering with Guangzhou research Institute Non-ferrous Metals (GRINM) to develop new carbon composite materials for application in automotive braking systems. The programme, which will formally commence work later this year, will be funded by Guangdong Department of Science and Technology (GDST) and follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Far and GRINM under the Lancaster University China Catalyst Programme. Both Far and GRINM look forward to this being the first of many joint research programmes, enabling the two partners to build a strong and mutually beneficial position in advanced composite materials.
