Far recently demonstrated its capabilities at the prestigious JEC show in Paris. The show, which ran from 11th March to the 13th March inclusive, is recognised as the world’s pre-eminent show for composite materials and was attended by suppliers, producers and customers from all over the world. The Far stand was demonstrating the company’s wide range of capabilities including:
• An Axon 60 frame showing Far’s ability to make cost effective structural components for volume car makers
• A wheel chair manufactured using the award winning “Process 4” demonstrating Far’s customer centric project management
• A sample suspension arm demonstrating Far’s ability to set up a volume manufacturing facility
The stand was staffed by a highly skilled team who were fielding enquiries from a constant stream of interested parties. Visitors included engineers from eight major car makers as well as interested parties from industries as varied as personal safety devices, yellow goods, maritime and aerospace. The team was able to deal with a range of technical enquiries in a number of languages. Despite having a team of 5 on the stand there never seemed to be a quiet moment and while staff did manage some brief looks at other stands most of the three days was spent with prospective customers.
It will be busy for the next few weeks working through all the requests for further information and making sure that potential customers are given the kind of introduction to the company that Far’s products and services deserve.
